The girl’s name is not being released, but she called 911 while she was behind the wheel and under the influence. Luckily, she was sober enough to pull over in a parking lot after calling 911. “She told us her life was spiraling out of control, and she had spent the majority of time drinking over the past two weeks,” said Lt. Randy Ziegler, an officer that responded to the call. He went on to say, “I’ve never heard of such a thing happening, and neither has anyone here.”

The new website is in the planning stages as the automaker continues to make itself relevant in society and on the roads. “In marketing, you have to stay relevant,” said Steve Cannon, the vice president of marketing for Benz Mercedes. “Certainly some brands are more challenged than others in staying relevant and vital to this new audience,” he explained. The new website, which is located at GenerationBenz.com, helps the advertising segment of Benz Mercedes gather anonymous data about customers so they can better serve their needs.

The new website serves as a sort of social marketing website where like-minded people can come together and share their Benz Mercedes vehicles stories and other interests.

Cannon went on to say this about the new website: “Here we have a generation that actually likes their parents and would definitely drive what their parents drove.” As a result, a website that appeals to parents and grandparents may increase sales among older demographics. This in turn leads to their children appreciating and respecting the car choices that their parents and grandparents make.

You’ll probably see some upscale fashion and lifestyle accessories this weekend as the city’s Bar Association Conference tops the list of important Philadelphia events. The Philly Bar Association Conference is a three-day event full of legal education seminars and social events.

The actual event takes place at Bally’s in nearby Atlantic City. Many members of the Philadelphia legal community attend to provide opportunities to “foster the working environment between local judges and attorneys.” More than 400 judges and attorneys attend the event each year.

This event will be kicked off today at noon with “a multimedia and interactive discussion on diversity in the legal field.” Verna Myers leads the presentation, entitled “Race and the Law,” with her unique style. Tonight, attendees can enjoy a huge reception with live entertainment by a popular area band named Big City. Tomorrow night, the bands Soul Survivor and The Stylistics are scheduled to appear.

Saturday and Sunday will also be interesting days. The Philadelphia Bar Association has planned several courses “featuring many prominent judges and attorneys” to help students and attendees learn more about the profession. Sunday’s last event is a discussion panel entitled “Caught in the Public View: Representing High-Profile Clients.” TruTV’s Jami Floyd leads the discussion.
