Protecting Your Mercedes-Benz Exterior

Mercedes vehicles are some of the best made vehicles in the world. Unfortunately, everything from the sun’s UV rays to birds can do things to the exterior of your Mercedes that make it look bad and reduce its value. Here are some things to keep in mind when it comes to protecting the exterior of your Mercedes-Benz:
- First, keep your Mercedes clean and waxed. Make sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions so you don’t inadvertently damage your vehicle while you’re cleaning or waxing it.
- Keep a spray water bottle in your trunk, along with a microfiber towel. If you find a bird dropping or other dirt on your Mercedes, us the bottle to spray the blemish. Let it soak for a bit, then rub it off with your fingers. Once the blemish is removed, only then should you wipe it with the microfiber towel.
- If you do damage your exterior, get your Mercedes serviced right away. The longer a bad spot goes and is exposed to the elements, the worse off your vehicle will be.
