Tips for Cleaning Your Certified Used Car’s Leather Interior
If you have a certified used car with leather interior, you probably want to take care of it and keep it looking nice. But just like anything else, it needs to be cleaned every so often. Here are some tips for cleaning the leather interior in your certified used car to keep it looking like brand new.
• Clean one section at a time. If you try to clean the entire interior at one time, you won’t be as thorough.
• Use a soft sponge and a cleaning agent made specifically for leather upholstery. Put a dab of the cleaning solution on the sponge and work it around a small area in a circular motion until it creates a lather.
• Once you’ve covered an area with the cleaner, use a soft dry cloth to wipe it off.
• Use a damp rag to rinse of the area you just cleaned. Continue wiping off the area until only clear water squeezes out of the rag.
• Start on the next spot and repeat.
Your certified Mercedes vehicles will look new and luxurious longer if you keep the leather interior clean. The more you take care of it, the prouder you can be of your car.

What are the risks of missing a spot that has cleaning solution on? Will the solution destroy the leather, or are cleaning solutions safer these days?
Most cleaning solutions that are specifically made for leather should be fine. However, it’s better not to take a chance. That’s why you should clean small sections at a time so you don’t lose track of what you’ve cleaned and what parts still have cleaning solution on them. Hope this helps!
