The Most Dangerous Times to Drive Your Certified Used Cars
Do you want to keep your certified used cars in tip-top shape? If so, there are some driving times that are more dangerous than others. Oddly, these times may surprise you.
The most dangerous time to be on the roads is during the afternoon rush hour. In most major cities, that is between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. During those hours, an average of 6.6 people die due to traffic-related accidents. Another dangerous time to drive your certified used cars on the road is between midnight and 4 a.m. For every 100 million people on the road during these hours, an average of 5.87 people gets killed.
The study also found some other statistics that you may find interesting. Of the fatal accidents on the roads during the nighttime hours, 36 percent of them are related to alcohol while only 9 percent of daytime accidents are attributed to alcohol. Also, 71 percent of people killed on the roads after midnight were not wearing their seatbelts while 55 percent of non-seatbelt wearers were killed during daytime hours.
Keep these numbers in mind whenever you are driving your Mercedes vehicles. Making some changes to your driving habits may just save your life!
