May 23, 2008 | | Comments 0

MercedesThe Motorsports Collection has long been a hallmark for Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts. Motorsports have a long and illustrious place in Mercedes history, and well-dressed fans have enjoyed dressing the part since the Collection’s inception. From clothing and accessories to travel gear, the Collection offers a complete range of products for men, women and children.

This year’s Collection lets go of last year’s focus on the color black. The new colors reflect those of the Motorsports drivers’ new team colors in shades of red, white, grey and silver. These colors are used in unique and catching combinations and two-tone pieces.

Men’s items include the sporty Knitted Pullover in elegant dark grey offset by various inset panels, as well as a functional and eye-catching windbreaker in white. The Tour Calendar shirt is particularly nice, a dark-grey shirt with a globe that details the major events of the season on the back. The Motorsports belt is also fun, in a black and grey two-tone design with an airplane seatbelt-style buckle complete with Mercedes star.

Women’s clothing pieces add the color fuchsia as well. The fuchsia and white Reversible Vest is particularly elegant and is specially treated for stain resistance. Women will also find a feminine version of the white windbreaker along with a variety of shirts, pullovers and jackets.

Children’s items are similar to those for adults, and the whole family can choose from a variety of replica Team Shirts and Team Caps in sizes up to men’s XXL. Children can even dream of their favorite racers in striped Formula One logo pajamas.

Of course, the clothing items are just the beginning. Be sure to check out the extensive collection of Motorsports inspired accessories, luggage and other useful items as well. Mercedes-Benz vehicles have long been an inspiration for well-dressed enthusiasts, and this year’s Motorsports Collection is no exception.
