A V8 engine in the GL is excessive and environmentally irresponsible. I have test driven the V6 version which has ample power though somewhat disappointing in fuel economy. is it really a good business decision to feed power hungry Americans who already consume three times as much power/energy for cars, homes and “toys” on a per capita basis than any other industrialized nation!!!??? Come on MB, where’s your sense of corporate citizenship!?!
